A west highland terrier is the best dog I have ever had!

This breed makes for a very special companion.  If you don't want to spend time with your dog, don't get one of these!  They want to do everything with you.  Being intelligent, having a lot of words that they understand, these dogs are able to determine everything based on what you say, how you move, even by what shoes you put on.  They are alert to what is going on all the time.  Scroll down through my posts to learn more about the Westie.

Meet Solomon:    He will turn 2 in Sept. of this year 2012.   He lives in a household with 2 older cats and is the king of his castle, except when Pete, our 3-legged cat, is in charge.
